The workshop is a practical course of outdoor naturalistic photography. Landscape, wildlife and macro photography are just some of the themes covered. A professional naturalistic photographer, will lead you to Camaldol into the Casentinesi Forest National Park where you will live a wonderful experience in such a beautiful and peaceful environment.

The photographer will be at your disposal to help you and advise on how to compose the perfect picture, interpret light, identifying the most interesting subjects and develop your own photographic style.

  • recommended equipment: digital camera and a range of different lens (from wide-angle to medium telephoto); tripod, essential for macro shots; filters kit (circular polarizer, neutral density, gradientneutral density; memory cards and batteries
  • please note that this is a mountain tour (above 800m) so we recommend layered clothing, hiking shoes, long pants, wind/rain jacket, warm sweater (trekking poles can be useful too)
  • we recommend to bring a water and some energetic food (chocolate, biscuits, honey)
  • in case of bad weather the tour may be cancelled or modified. You will be contacted by our staff to rebook the tour on a different date or to have a total refund

6.30am meeting point at Bibbiena (Arezzo). Departure with your own car to reach Camaldoli Hermitage where the tour starts. You will take the “path 68” that begins with a steep walk becoming more adventurous in case of snow. Walking will not take too long and you will be immersed in a wonderful landscape. You will then continue on another path towards Prato alla Penna, an easier trail with a breathtaking view. Path will finally lead you back to the Hermitage where you will arrive at around 12.30 a.m..
